I found out through a friend about some arrests up in Oakland I wasn't very familiar with. So tonight I looked up the charges and the case and was disgusted. Three of Occupy Oaklands occupiers were accused of theft, and jailed on $100,000 bond. One is still in and could not be bailed out. Oakland has started a letter wiring campaign to him to keep his spirits up, and I think it would be nice if we joined in.
