It has come to our attention that occupylosangelesnews.org, a platform run by Mitch Ward, has issued an ‘endorsement issue’ calling for the reelection of Barack Obama. This platform claims to be “the news of Occupy LA from Occupy LA media live from the ground.” However this is not the case, he has not participated actively or horizontally with the movement and has completely managed the content produced and the agenda set by his paper- at this point implying the position of Occupy Los Angeles’s on the upcoming 2012 elections.
This weekend I had planned my first stab at actually facilitating a GA. Unfortunatly I have to cancel it because there is a much greater need in our community.
Our comrades have been fighting foreclosure for four years. The foreclosure is completely fraudulent, starting with the paperwork the bank submitted to offer this loan to the family to begin with. This house has gone to auction many times and has never once been sold. They recieved eviction papers this week, and the house is still with no buyer.

June 17th was the the 9 month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Most of the world outside of occupy is not aware of this, as the Main Stream Media (MSM) keeps pounding it into their heads that "Occupy is dead". But this is not the way it looks to many on the ground, as we see what happens day to day, we follow the writings, the live streams, the blogs, and tweets of other occupiers all over the world. Unfortunately most of the world outside Occupy does not follow, or might not even know these things exist. They don't see us on what MSM calls "News" so out of sight, out of mind. There isn't a great amount of media coming out of the occupations, generally because we are really busy with what we are doing, and we always could use more help.
