No, the title of this blog entry is not in reference to me personally, nor to anyone personally for that matter. It's about waking people up to the fact that alienating those who are on your side doesn't do anyone any good.

The sexism was nausiating today at the general assembly. Do I really have to point out that I didn't CHOOSE to be the gender that I am, or how wrong it would be if I tried to get it changed to fit the whims of what society thinks is "better" at the time? Do I really have to point out that I did not create the discrimination and polarization based society that we live in? Do I really need to point out that swinging a pendulum the other way doesn't stop it? Do I really need to point out that TRADING ONE DISCRIMINATION FOR ANOTHER HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE AND IT NEVER MAKES THINGS BETTER?

I guess somebody's gotta say it. :(

Now I'm asking nicely, please people... stop taking the crimes of our ancestors out on each other and learn to get along.
