After introducing the motion that asks the city attorney to prepare an ordinance that would "help protect and maintain" City Hall Park by limiting the hours it's open to between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m, we all now that this is an anti-occupy idea. We are not surprised.

It seems like you don't remember where you came from. You and your family moved to los Angeles from Zacatecas, México. You grew up in Boyle Heights where people barely have money to eat, raise their children and survive in general. You grew up in a place where people don't have freedom of speech in our society, where people are afraid of speaking a broken English, where people are also afraid of expressing their ideas because they are undocumented.

Now that you have a degree from UC Berkley, Princeton and UCLA, and that you have been elected by "the people" you want to "protect" a piece of parkland from "the people" who only want to discuss their ideas about a social change there. Do you know that members of Occupy LA discuss topics related to immigration and immigrants civil rights as part of our agenda?

You are betraying the people who voted for you. You are betraying your roots. You don't even respect the memory of Cesar Chávez. Do you really think that Cesar Chávez would be supporting your recent proposal? if you do, then you are an ignorant.

You are an example of corruption in our society. You want to appear as the Mr. Right of the City of Los Angeles but the truth is that you are turning your back to the people. Politicians are elected by the people to work for the people, and obviously you are walking a different path so you must resign immediately.
