Normally I am rather verbose; not as a means of displaying superiority as some have concluded, but as a constant masturbation of my adopted tongue. I love the English language and every time I learn a word that can beautifully depict an image, I will use it and it'll turn me on. But that's just me.

I have thought about this at length and it's a far more complex issue. After a speaking engagement at an event for Slake Magazine which provoked the question of why I occupy; I put some thoughts into words, and to quote Kerouac “One day I will find the right words, and they will be simple.” They are, why I Occupy:

"It's true that 99% of society is oppressed by capitalism. We live in a society where the value of a human is decided upon the amount of wealth they can generate for an individual, and more often than not, elders, children, the LGBT community and ultimately, women are more oppressed than anyone.

I am a feminist and I occupy to encourage equality. I occupy to encourage participation of those who've had their voices muffled by the status-quo.

Women hold 17% of seats in congress. We must ALL occupy to end oligarchy. Our total participation into the events that affect us will be our fighting chance."

The extremely-welcoming Joe Donnelly (Slake Magazine)  encouraged me to 'Keep it short and sweet' to give all a fair amount of speaking time, which I did. Having an intense penchant for linguistics,  I am fully capable of describing the most mundane acts in a peppy way, but just like saying 'I love you,' the reason why I occupy is complex within it's brief wording. I love equality and humanity, therefore I occupy.
