freddie mac is attacking a community in riverside

taxpayer supported freddie mac can do any fvccn thing that they want. they have manipulated the system to force action in ways that no actual person could have ever done.

the bank decided they want arturo de los santos in court so they called a court date. (apparently and unfortunately banks have such abilities in this day and age and society - it is as simple as them deciding and the next day art must appear or send representation.)

art has tried to pay the banks. they have been more interested in defrauding him than accepting money for his home. they will not negotiate with him, only dicate terms. instead of talking, the bank wants to control the actions of the commision and use the commision to control the actions of the police... and use the police to destroy a part of the life of the de los santos family.

it is really a shocking thing that a bank can just call a court date whenever they choose. some people, of course, (many who are down) would tell you that they are not shocked or even surprised at the power that the corporations wield but even they would have to conceed it is also amazing that our society has progressed to the state that here we are on the threshold of such elitism and institutional priviledge in the hands of annonymous, well-funded corporations. 

the community supports the family

the community empowerment group acce has gotten 70k signatures of support of the de los Santos family in an online petition. they have other signatures in paper form. residents in the community have made as many as 1500 calls in support of the family. occupy los angeles, occupy riverside, occupy the hood and other occupy groups have been to the house on many occations. this is a case where clearly the people see the greed of the banks.

also astonishing is the victim that the bank chooses to harrass in this case. arturo de los santos is the model bank customer. he is the kind of guy that in normal situation would work tirelessly to give the money (including interest) to the bank. this man is a marine, he is employed, he is responsible. in general, he is the kind of guy that wants nothing more than to provide for his family the best life for them that he can. the bank has chosen to persecute him in spite of all of this.

IF GRANTED, THE ORDER COULD TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY."  this family could be thrown out onto the streets because of the power of the bank and its influence over the judicial system.

the mindless powers that are enforcing such a terrible decision have never been to the scene of the crime that they are perpetrating.this is a premeditated act. this is theft of property that is worth such a small amount to the bank but invaluable to the family. the one percent is incapable of understanding such a calculation, the people can only hope for the integrity of their system.

the lives of people hang in the balance

on Layton Ct. the trees line the street, the birds live there, greeting each morning and each afternoon with songs. the neighborhood is about the business of taking children to school and making the way to work and other, similar activities. Families live there. these are families that shouldnt have to worry about losing their homes. the clear example of the de los santos family shows the neighborhoods are being attacked. the communities ripped apart by banks. the holes in neighborhoods are appearing one after the other. as one family is dislocated another family is targeted for dislocation.

the corporations feel that they can get away with it because the legal structure shelters them. the supreme court has yet to make an opinion in favor of the people on the issue. the attorney general of the state and the nation both seem to make excuse after exuse for bank after bank. the congress and multiple presidents authorized bailouts for these entities. freddie mac and jp morgan chase and the ceo of freddie mac and the ceo of jp morgan chase must have a feeling that they can do anything. the must feel invincibility to stand there in front of tens of thousands of signatures and steal away a house from a family with the money to legally buy it.

the media allows the banks such undeserved outlandish priviledge. in this particular case media outlets have gone to stressing bank ownership of the property irreguardless of the "tenant's" willingness and ability to pay off the cost of the house and flatly in the face of the fact that the children (too young to be landowners in this culture) have grown up here in this house and community their entire lives.
