We, members of the UCLA department of education, gathering in retreat today, want to express our personal support for the “Occupy LA Movement” as it represents a tangible effort to give voices to the vast majority of Americans who believe the current inequities in our economic system are part and parcel of the systematic undermining of equal educational opportunity for all students from pre-K through university.

More Involvement!

Why don't you do something useful instead of just stating you support it, get in touch with your brothers and sisters in the UC system and put an end to the criminal spedning of over $300 million thats $300,000,000.00 on a stadium improvement for Cal Berkley! how can we let this happen $300,000,000.00 do you see how many zero's are on the end of that 3?

Do you think that maybe $300,000,000.00 could be better spent reducing the inequities in our economic system and undermining of educational opportunity than on a stadium, used to promote nothing but more multi gazillionaires, how much does the head football coach make and what do these players do for our school system once they make it to the NFL courtesy of some poor family that couldn't afford to go to school because we "GAVE" an education away to a football player!

NOW is the time for action demand that the $300,000,000.00 be spent on better true educational endeavors this is criminal, that we build a stadium so we can bow at the feet of football thugs who barely attend class, lets end the hypocricy and get that money back into education.
