Danny Glover, renown actor, activist and philanthropist has also served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Program from 1998-2004 focusing on issues of poverty, disease and economic development in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and currently serves as UNICEF Ambassador. Glover toured the Occupation LA area outside City Hall on Saturday. He, along with a delegation of Women's groups and teachers Unions, met with the crowd before spending some time speaking with our LiveStream audience. “I’m here to support all the young men and women who are making their own history in their own time,” he said just after spending about an hour mingling with the crowd.
