I'm interested to see what y'all think of this. If only to hone our argument against those who will invariably use this analysis to undermine the Occupy movement. No, I can't vouch for the methodology, its from CNN so consume with care:

The 90%?

If we were to take that information at face value, then with a USA population of over three hundred million people and that chart showing less than thirty million United States citizens as being in the richest 1% globally, that would still be less than 10% of the population of the United States. But it looks like that this data is not comparing income but rather "wealth" which if you consider the inflated "value" of real estate in the United States would give an unrealistic impression of high wealth to anyone who owns a house in such a country compared to in countries where banks are not artificially inflating property purchase costs in order to increase their rate of forclosures. Also... consider the source.
