I was inspired by the recent ports-related events around the West Coast to write a detailed analysis of possibly shutting down the entire LA/Long Beach Port complex via protest.  It would be a massive undertaking requiring a lot of strategic thought, but I think it's doable if significant numbers of Occupy groups cooperate and plan well ahead.   Here is my analysis:

I strongly believe this is the best direction for Occupy West of the Rockiest to go, focising on the Port of LA/Long Beach in the way that in the NorthEast Wall Street continues to be the focus.  It is doable, in my opinion, and needs to be done.
