Description:

Don't let them take your rights quietly! Help STOP Internet censorship & TWEET "SOPA" for 1 hour this Monday, December 19th from 6-7 pm PST.

It looks as though they're might be a vote on SOPA this Wednesday. For those who have not heard  "SOPA" is the Stop Online Piracy Act. As worded, this bill could suppress free speech by virtually deleting Web sites accused of copyright infringement. Primarily written by and for big media, this bill gives no protection to the freedoms of those outside of their industry. Yet, SOPA has a good chance of passing because it’s backed by powerful corporate interests and bipartisan majorities in both the U.S. House and Senate.

Our last TwitterBOMB was incredibly successful, reaching millions of Tweeters within just 1 hour. People shared thoughts, information and legislation with each other creating a great dialogue amongst Tweeps. Whether participating or not, we welcome anyone who
wants to observe our discussion of  SOPA to follow the action by searching the hashtag "SOPA" on Twitter.
