So this is my first post. I've never joined an advoacy/protest group ever before.

I work for a large corporation and have worked in middle management Human Resources roles. When I see the overall greed, it makes me realize I'm the 99% - We all do, and I do too, what is required to keep my job. Paying the bills gives us a security in life. 

One of the biggest corruptions in Corporate America is the compensation system. If you take the compensation of the CEO and compare it to the entry level manager to the entry level individual contributor, the gaps are unwarranted - 300% to 1000% and there are all sorts of variations depending on the company. 30 years ago (or so) the differential was at maximum, 400%

I don't think Capitalism is bad - profit is a good thing. I do support companies making profits. I think the Occupy LA organization should be pro-business - but also pro-fairness.

Our brains are wired for self-preservation - and given all the changes in last 20 years or so, maybe more, those in influential positions continue to bond together and form the communications, the PR, the lobbyists that maintain that power and it has reached a tipping point. The wealthy became too greedy in taking more and more. The fallacy of higher productivity is we do more with less - so those in higher positions, take more money (at bonus time)

This part needs to be addressed - Executive Compensation is a rigged game set up by boards who get favors by having their 'friends' vote for their high comp packages. It's a game of scratch my back.

Demands for Executive Comp Limits - No bonus for executives who fail - these employment contracts are bogus....

It's almost if you have to implore the rich to be kinder, do the right thing, create jobs (ie, Execs decide to hire more)...There really has to be a new bottom line.....
