Description:
Pretrial Hearing Demonstrations
Bradley Manning's Pretrial Hearing, the first time in his 17 months of incarceration that Bradley will face a judge, is set to begin on December 16th. Our International Day of Solidarity will take place on Saturday, December 17th, Bradley Manning's birthday. We're asking people around the world to take to the streets in their support of Bradley.
“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE”
If Bradley Manning is the one who released the Afghan war diaries, the Iraq war logs, the footage leading to the “collateral damage video”, the 250,000 US diplomatic cables, and many other secrets to wiki leaks, then as an individual he may have very well done more to promote democracy, then any one individual solider, in United States History.
Democracy requires that people not only make choices, but that their choices are based on accurate and current information – voting does not matter if voters are ignorant as to what choice will serve their own best interest. The volume of secrets and lies allegedly exposed by Bradley Manning has empowered millions of people to make decisions based on the whole truth.
He has been held without trial for more than a year and half. In that time, He has been made to suffer
through forced nudity and solitary confinement – a well known form of psychological torture.
Occupy Los Angeles demands his immediate release and the dropping of ALL charges against him. This demand is not all inclusive and does not negate any other current or future demand of Occupy Los Angeles.
