This is an account of one of the many frightening experiences that was had at Occupy Los Angeles.
It was black Friday, and I was getting ready to go on a short road trip. I had spent the day packing, as I had heard we were getting raided the next night, but I also spent part of the day collecting information on potential arrestees, names and birth dates. One of those people was “Mike” a ex marine who came to help us out with on site security issues.
I went back to my community area to work and pack. I was packing and getting ready for my trip when one of our food volunteers came running up to us, and told us a brief rundown of Mike getting picked up by the police. I confirmed this story with peace patrol, we were very worried, and even though Mike is ok, his story still chills me.
Here he is telling his story.
