Also please watch Mike Lasley's video describing his detention and removal from the grounds of City Hall the same day as Jason Hurley, by men dressed in LAPD uniforms, Friday, 11/25/11. For the record, Mike's son is six years old. One of the officers had Mike's complete military record. Such records are not normally available to municipal police departments, leaving one with the impression that this operation was coordinated by the DHS which has overseen the destruction of encampments across the nation facilitated through conference calls with at least 19 city mayors, who are acting as proxies for the federal government in the suppression of the Movement.

I was told that a total of 12 people were taken from the Occupy LA encampment on Friday, all male and all of them vets. I cannot personally confirm this.

If this is true, I assume the authorities are trying to ensure that no vets are on site when the encampment is cleared, as the public is very sympathetic to vets. The two who were injured by police in Oakland did great PR damage to the OPD and mayor there.

I sincerely hope that other vets are informed of Friday's events and join Occupy LA during the removal.

Everyone I have talked to on this has been a dead end. There has been no press coverage of this story yet because they are all committed to the narratives that they've been building up for the last two months. The occupiers have refused to help me on this because *THEY HAD ALREADY OSTRASIZED HURLEY.* The occupiers were more concerned with giving Villaraigosa their special statement than with confronting the mayor with the blatant evidence that he is sweeping people under the rug whenever the press shows up. The impression I got from the occupiers was that they were just as happy for Hurley to disappear as the police were because they saw him as a threat to their "consensus". It's Chinatown.

The timing and methods of the police actions give a strong suspicion of political motive behind the disappearance. This story should get out there BEFORE THE RAID so that it can be investigated while witnesses are still available. POLITICAL ABDUCTION people! It doesn't matter if it's for 2 hours or 2 years, abduction is abduction.

Selective enforcement of a just law is unjust, selective enforcement with political motive is a serious crime.

If you are one of the vets who was nabbed, find a member of the press and tell them what happened. City Hall park is the scene of multiple kidnappings, this should be investigated BEFORE THE RAID while the witnesses are still around.

and again, I have been unable to confirm the total number of persons removed from the camp or if they were all vets. I do not know Jason Hurley's status in that regard. It has been reliably reported that Jason Hurley was see at camp since his arrest.
