I would like to suggest that we demonstrate the continuing strength of our movement by conducting a "Sign Bomb" on the morning or day after the inevitable eviction.
We would start now making 9,900 signs that would say something like "Occupy LA We are the 99%". These can be made on waste cardboard and can be any size. We would stockpile the signs and then when the eviction happens, teams will deploy the signs all over the city at major intersections, freeway on/offramps and the like. The city would be blanketed with the message that "WE ARE HERE". It would be a powerful statement.
It would be simple enough to get the project going. We gather up some initial materials and start making the signs in front of the Fed mural. People will naturally join in and start brining materials. It would be good for morale too and also a way to bring people together on a project in which everyone can contribute by getting materials and making signs. I think it's a win-win all around.
Some people have been kicking around the slogan "OCCUPY LA: 99% STRONGER TODAY"
What do you think?
