Facebook is censoring me and many other pro occupy activists! PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION AND SHARE IT!   Please sign and share this petition asking Facebook to address the problem of "trolls" making false accusations of spamming to shut someone down who holds an opposing political view!
Here is a link to the petition:  http://www.change.org/petitions/facebook-give-the-people-true-freedom-to-share   I have been posting photos and information on the Facebook Occupy Walls of different cities as well as your page and pages like your page. I can no longer do this. Now when I try to  share information relevant to the Occupy Movement  a message pops up that reads "As we notified you earlier, this feature is temporarily unavailable because you've been making spammy and irrelevant posts on Facebook Pages.".
This is happening to many people who have been Facebook activists for the Occupy Movement.
I share information that I compiled in my Facebook notes. Here is a link: https://www.facebook.com/shelly.reswick?sk=notes
Here is an example of the information I had been sharing on Facebook pages like yours:  https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=290289584329057   Here is a link to an article titled:  "Facebook Opens Doors To A New Way of Suppressing Information, Activists Constantly Banned" http://www.allfacebook.com/facebook-censorship-2011-10   Here is a link to an article titled: "Occupy Movement Believes Facebook Censors Them" http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/11/13/facebook-opens-doors-to-a-new-way-of-suppressing-information-activists-constantly-banned/

I dunno Fex, the White House

I dunno Fex, the White House seems to think online petitions are an idea. You know, fire with fire. I wonder who can do a better job of marshalling citizens online: a small army of tech-savvy motivated activists or a couple of D.C. bureaucrats?

Fair enough

Fair enough, I also do sign a good amount, but they never seem to matter.

Regarding petitions

Regarding any petition that comes from within OWS, even if non-sponsored . . . the wording needs to be reviewed by a team of mixed politic group of lawyers. Seriously. Have a mixed team review, have whoever started the motion/petition review suggested changes/wording after lawyer team edits, and then petition. So many petitions are poorly worded, weak, and/or so broad as to mean nothing. Solid petitions at least may change the public political discussions toward more pertinent issues.

Rofl

Rofl sure why not, so long as she's part of a truly mixed team she'll be one few among many, I've no prob with that :)

Edit: hopefully a team that knows and recites California law code.

What?

Sean, You call me.  You write to me.  And you conduct serious conversations with me.  Then you make fun of me on this page> What is that about?  That seems immature and unmanly.

@Havamal - -whoever you are: Yes, I know California law and the LA Muni Code quite well.  That's how I am able to practice law.   I graduated law school magna cum laude with many awards (including one in ethics), easily passed the bar in 2 states, have practiced law for years,  and have very grateful clients.  What education or licensing do you have?  I have 12 years of university level work, and lots of Continuing Legal Education.  I know what I am talking about - in law and several other fields.

Please explain your education and credentials, since you mock mine.

Is your hatred mainly of women, mainly of lawyers, or mainly of -- what?  I have rarely seen such extreme hate and confused thinking as on this page.

Was it during your studies in ethics that you learned the practice of calling the cops on your clients?

The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves - in their separate, and individual capacities. -Abe
