I want to express my support for a rally/march every weekend. Those of us with jobs trying to make ends meet want to support this movement but for logistical reasons cant camp out or particjpate during the week. Its extremely important therefore to have a regularly scheduled march leaving from city hall every saturday at the same time. This is the best way to get noticed, make our voices heard, build momentum and make it easy to participate. Thank you

I aggree. We need a rally every weekend.

Most the supporters of the Occupy movement have jobs. We should have a rally every weekend and it should target specific issues. If we can hold the rally around different parts of town we can have the general public become more aware of the issues that we are protesting against.
Rally every weekend

This is an excellent idea. There must be lots of people like myself who are longing to participate in the movement but can't because of work or school. This would increase the numbers of participants, which is surely the most important thing we can do to strengthen the movement.

YES YES YES WE SHOULD!! this idea is so amazing becasue im in occupy la every weeekend and i think if we had a march every weekend that would be tens of thousands of people in downtown everyweekend not just every other weekend. i build up all kinds of things to say during the week and beaing able to say all of it in front of a crowd and get everyone rallied up to march is wonderful!!

With Union Station and the various Redline stations so close...

...There are many options to march, even for people based mainly at Cith Hall.
Doesn't even have to be protesting, but raising awareness. Funny signs and informatie flyers.
BTW, the Hollywood Xmas Parade is this coming Sunday (Nov 27)
Very little chance of being caught on camera ( as they really try to prevent that and this is not live but edited), but there are a ton of people there before the parade and the streets are closed to vehicular traffic.
Just be mindful that there are a ton of kids and cops.
rally every weekend

A rally every weekend would be great, but not to Union Station--we don't want to block public transportation! We love public transporation! How about a rally to banks, or to really rich people's homes? And also how about a General Assembly during the afternoons on weekends, so that people who have to be at work on weekdays can participate in decision-making and not just chanting?

I wasn't saying to protest there (Union Station) or block people, but to use it to get to other venues for people that are staying at the encampment.
Rally/march each weekend I am for

Hell yes. I would very much like to attend marches and protest events held on the weekends, and if GA sessions were earlier on the weekend as well I think many more would participate and spread interest.

Yes a rally everyweekend with funny signs and informative phamplets would be amazing for the movement and also help generate intrest and support from the outside communites! I would love to go to GA meetings on the weekend but they should be around 4 or maybe 3 so they could be more partciapation. i found a really awesome blog about a guy who just stands in front of a bank on his own and passes out flyers its funny and i will eventually do it in my local area but to be able to do it every weeekend in downtown with occupy LA at my back would be awesome HERES THE LINK TO THE STORY
