Tonight, the OccupyLA occupation communication committee will be hosting the InterOccupy conference call with 500 occupation camps signed up to participate. This is the third conference call coordinated by occupiers in numerous cities. OccupyLA is honored to be part of this communication network building. It is the mission of our committee to develop working relationships between occupations so that we may learn from each other. This is not a national general assembly, but rather a way for us to mediate communication given the explosion of information currently on the internet. We have reached out in order to become networked, but we are mindful to respect the autonomy of the local occupations.
This is the largest conference call to date between occupations and it will also hopefully be livestreamed from the OccupyLA media tent. So if you do not want to get on the call, but you want to hear what it is about, then tune in!

ITs important to mention staying peaceful at rallies

its important to discuss the inflitration of some camps and also to discuss the fact that alot of occupations are being shut down while others are staying afloat. the ones getting shut down need support badly. we are fighting a war with no guns and no bloodshed so we must remeber this war is a war of numbers the more people who are willing to protest and march and especially camp out is a number one priority.

Hello All,
Thank you for attending last night’s www.InterOccupy.org call. We were hosting it outdoors from the steps of city hall in Los Angeles. It was a difficult call from OccupyLA as we were experiencing some technical troubles through Maestro, our router, our phone connections, and the bomb squad was at the camp. As you can imagine that makes for a very exciting, but stressful facilitation. We would like to thank Michael in NYC for jumping in when we needed it.
We are going to be troubleshooting these problems with Maestro over this week and invite you to use the doodle schedules on www.interoccupy.org to schedule a time for those breakout groups over the weekend. We remain committed to providing a place for information sharing and problem-solving.
