Perhaps it's easier to cover unrest in other countries.

Maybe covering unrest in other countries is the safest way to do one's job without being axed by one's own country or the businesses within?

Dude, it's probably due to London having it's own Occupy movement & a rather large march today. Not to mention Ireland being involved. And Russia was Totally Anti Capitalist until the late 80's, of course this is huge news to them, as it is also a bit confusing in it's portrayal by our own sold out media. As supersean or Rancho Larry mentioned a week & a half ago, "The Iranian & Russian Press" are more accurately covering the movement than our own press. It used to be like that for the BBC until they sold out near the end of Margret's reign.
