Found this worthwhile, mayhaps some of you will too, an opinion article about OWS titled "The radical power of just showing up"
http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2011/10/201110257859154472.html
A quote I like:
"Will Occupy Wall Street matter? Can this insistence that democratic participation not be reduced to voting queues and e-petitions help create an alternate future? I am reminded of a joke about Hosni Mubarak in the days before he was forced from office. The joke goes: One of Mubarak's advisors said to him,"Mr President, I think you should prepare a farewell letter to your people." To which he replied, "Why, where are they going?” "

Thanks for the LINK. Food For Thought...

And hey We WILL prevail through THOUGHT and ACTIONS. Think first.
Speaking of thinking I think every concerned citizen of the US and every Occupier either in camping out fact or in heartfelt support, needs to know and be able to convey the 2 most important messages of the movement. These are the two prime messages that must be told to anyone anytime anywhere the questions are asked. 1. What is it and 2. What do they (you) all want?
1. What is Occupy Whatever all about really?
Answer: Occupy Wall Street is direct democracy taking the action of exercising our first amendment rights through peaceful assembly. We assemble to regress our grievances to the government of the United States of America, as guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution. Peacefully!
2. What are the demands of Occupy Wall Street.
A. To remove the DIRTY MONEY from the election process. Dirty Money is the huge sums that are contributed to political campaigns by the Super Rich, Lobbyists, and Corporations to further the narrow self interests of lower taxes on high personal and corporate incomes, and de-regulation of irresponsible corporate behavior. The Citizens United decision of the Supreme Court must be over turned, by Constitutional Convention if necessary.
B. To end Crony Capitalism where interlocking boards of directors and the upper managements of the largest companies embark on programs of profit at any cost to the citizens of this country. Be it financial, economic, or ecological endeavors, where the fix is in, the game is rigged, and the playing field is never level. Corporate governance must have over-site by a real government Of the People, By the People, and For the People.
