I understand that OccupyLA is providing shelter for the homeless. Is this true? If so, it is awesome. I also have heard complaints that the area stinks because people don't have bathroom facilities. This may not be true because I was there during the march last Saturday and smelled no such thing.
Now if OccupyLA is bent on organization, the one thing they should do is to organize the people at City Hall, and make decrees that pertain only to those people, because these people are the only ones present to truly be represented.
If it is true that facilities are lacking, then the city should be pressed to provide them for the occupiers. This is public health and it is a responsibility of the city. Call them out on it.
