11:24 Tsuyoshi: Content can be used in a satyrical, news-based, promotional should be timed appropriately. Context...
What types of video will be effective? Can we ask at Oliver Stone's lecture?
Alex: Documentary/Raw footage. Adding music to it nullifies/cheapens its conviction
Lauren: (planning) a Music video with a popular song, modified lyric, a collection of juicy footage. Movie and music are integral.
Yvonne: Some listens to hip-pop while others does heavy metal. Different types of video can appeal different audience.
Tsuyoshi: When to use each to be effective?? guess:
- 1 - Raw footage for immediate post-event period for audience with the context / interest.
- 2 - Video w/ music for a pre-event period for promotion & during the gap between events for audience without context / interest. (better at keep the momentum going & win new audience indiscriminately than raw.)
All agree. We can ask.

Want to get more BNF training or similar. How?
END: Want to get training like BNF one from more experienced groups with resources.
MEAN by Lauren: Team up with other progressive organizations ?
L = PRO: More likely to get support as we have similar goals such as moveon.org
G = CON+HARDBLOCK: moveon.org blows. They got their own agenda and OLA doesn't want to get misassociate or take part of their agenda, different from OLA. It'll risk our independence and solidifies the public view that we're leftist radicals & makes ourselves further unapproachable for the independent and right. undermines solidarity among 99%.
L: We've seen as LEFTEST already by mainstream media. what's the point of resisting it and not taking an advantage of our surroundings? We never gonna convince the right & we can't get away from being "progressive" organization. Some right organizations are backed up by 1%, too.
G: We're approaching the right, too at personal level. Each of us should. We have to, as 99%. Also, we're not left. We always have to try.
T: We all agree with the END. Just a matter of MEAN. How can we get what we want & avoid what we don't?? 1 of the options: Ask both the right & left organization equally & openly and let them answer. Then, the chooser will be them, not us. (Of course, progressive ones will be more likely to respond but that's different from us asking directly to them only)
G: Let them come to us. Get Tea Party on our side, for example.
L: High ROI (return of investment) can overshadow the risk & cost of mis-association. It wouldn't be "Partnership" but "Strategic Alliance." In that way, we don't get absorbed into their own agenda.
G: "Strategic Alliance" may work. Hardblock removed.

01:19 Don't be late! No dogs! Two hours of New Media training to help the Occupy movement leverage the assets we have in a more efficient way.

I have a lot of back minutes, not taken in traditional minute format but as brainstorming sessions, and discussion topics if you want them. Unfortunatly they are sporadic and hand written. Those days we ended up taking turns on taking minutes... But we have most of them!!! :)
My words represent myself and not Occupy Los Angeles. @lizsavage on Twitter
