We invite all supporters, participants, agitators, the dreamers, the critical, the cynics, and all who seek a better more egalitarian world to join us for the one-year anniversary weekend of Occupy Los Angeles to stand united in our shared struggles. Please share amongst all the people for the most organic participation possible!
On October 1st we successfully 'occupied' City Hall to take direct action because of the lack of solutions presented by the political process. On Nov. 30th a paramilitary operation of 1400 police officers raided our encampment, successfully evicting the people assembled from Solidarity Park. We continued occupying, reclaiming the streets of DTLA in solidarity with the most disenfranchised, organizing for change and resistance in the face of mounting political repression.
