What about this?

Forums:

First off, I would like to show my gratitude to this movement for creating a space for fellow humans to express their thoughts. How about we take the marches to the urban areas of l.a. instead of the financial institutions, why dont we take the marches to the individuals who are at home, who need better understanding of the movement, the people who feed off from the incorect information of the media outlets, why concentrate on the individuals who are corrupting the system and not the individuals who will help us push the movement to a more stronger and consistent effort, the city of Los Angeles consists of Millions of people, most of them are around the center of L.A. these are the streets that we must march on, to grab the attention of our people, and to spread the word a whole lot quicker, that the movement is here to stay until the corruption, the greed, the unequality, the poverty, the police brutality, the unemployement, all that is WRONG is all gone.

I don't know who you are, you

I don't know who you are, you keep claiming to be part of OLA. If you were you would know we are learning to be considerate of other communites, and urban environments, and paratropping into them is not how we build community with them. No marches through these areas as they draw increased police attention. If anything we rather have the police around the banksters. Not the people they attack daily.

MY OUTRAGE.

This movement is very important, although it is naturally weakened by the dominant power.
The greed for profit does not allow men rich and powerful worry about the poorer social classes, provided that these do not provide the financial return that they want and need. Social inequality was increasing, as the most powerful men struggled to maintain their positions without worrying about the suffering and the degeneration of the disadvantaged classes. Poverty is being scammed and hidden by hypocritical social programs and those who needs them necessarily become allies of the Government elite that generate volunteers hidden behind so-called social programs, which are actually just shameful political maneuvers of corrupt and hypocrites to achieve their goals at the expense of the basic needs of the poorest people.

The police force is also victim of capitalist power that dominates all segments of society. Underpaid policemen sacrifice their lives increasing each day your loads of stress in the fight against rampant marginality. Therefore, when they are required to act in the name of law and order lose the notion of their psychological limits and beat up people who, often, are fighting for their own rights and security.

For these and many other reasons are needed popular movements, explaining and guiding people to rise up to defend their rights. It is need to claim from the authorities constituted the faithful fulfilment of their obligations, in this form of Government that is called democracy.

Bring cops to areas where

Bring cops to areas where people are oppressed heavily by them is not cool period. I am not sure who you are, but its pretty apparent you really don't know much about occupy either. Its really silly to think you are part of something because you talk about it onliine, which a lot of people do. No concept of what we are doing, who wer are, or what we are working on. This is really upsetting to the people who LIVE Occupy full time. We have taken a lot of time to start building bridges into communites, and people who "have good intentions" tend to destroy those relations with a single privledged ideal.

If you want to be part of occupy come to our general assembly, join a committee, come to our events, know who we are, and what areas we have worked on, and why. Just claiming your a part of it really isn't enough. Speak with us, not for us.
