HELLO FELLOW OCCUPIERS! ONE LOVE! Now more than ever, maintaining HIGH visibility is a crucial challenge for us! ... That is why we beseech you to officially JOIN the Occupy Caravan! The Occupy Caravan’s week long, celebratory journey promoting economic justice begins in Los Angeles April 2, then makes it’s way city to city, ( circling each city hall ) gathering more vehicles and supporters until it reaches New York City’s Wall Street, before heading to our final stop Washington DC April 9th. This historic and FUN civil rights road trip brings the people’s voice from the nation’s heartland ... to the seats of power!  100 years after the birth of American folk singer hero Woody Guthrie, who sang about economic injustice based on his travels west in the Great Depression, Americans embark across the nation’s highways once again. This time, traveling by the thousands from west coast to east, converging on Wall Street and Washington, DC to demand an end to corporate influence on their democracy, and economic fairness for all. Starting on April 2, “This Land Is Our Land!” Spring Caravan leaves Los Angeles, stopping in two dozen American cities and picking up hundreds of vehicles while absorbing“feed-in” caravans along the way. The Occupy Caravan is a civil rights road trip for families and singles, retirees and students, the under-employed, occupiers and people from every walk of life. This historic journey will carry the economic message of the 99% "from California, to the New York Island", ending at the National Occupation of Washington (NOW), DC.
