World Solidarity

It certainly looks like we have arrived at the crossroad of a social and capitalist reformation, both locally and globally; for however long it may take to establish the protocol for humans to be successful as cohabitators with this Living Planet Earth.  Our success depends upon identifying the minimum essentials for a persons basic life on Earth.  Every person must be guaranteed a minimum sustenance of food, shelter and clothing, even when they cannot provide for themselves.  This the sole basis for a successful Global Society that can provide the most humanistic economy and freedom ultimately.    

A 1960's encyclopedia yearbook showed an illustration of a Viking navigator with brawny arms stretched out grasping, and his knees buckling under the carried weight of a humongous planet Earth.  The next cell shows Magellan in his puffy pantalooned tutu, his arms and belly holding onto planet Earth.  Amelia Earhart's flying circumnavigates; she bounces the Earth like a basketball.  Today we carelessly toss a Space Age marble, maybe just slightly unaware of the consequences for our actions.  This is just the point. We have gathered enough information through human history and human innovation to become successful at living harmoniously on planet Earth.  The only thing stopping us from being successful is the synchronization of Earth's resources and the dissonance of greed.

The #occupy and 99% movement should form an independent party in every country and globally toward World Solidarity.  As a nonviolent movement there is every chance for success.  It seems plausible that this movement will first succeed by shear numbers.  This is because people everywhere want good lives for themselves and their children.  Humanist aspects erase prejudice right across party lines and between factions.  I used to play in a rock&roll band.  I never liked playing cover songs, but today I could really wail on Wilson Picket's 99 1/2.  It would be thoughtful to welcome everyone to be a part of the 99%ers.  Wilson Picket screams so succinctly, "99 and a half just won't do.  Got to have 100."  The attitude for global success demands that we reach 100% or at least 99 and 9/10 %.  These goals are possible because of the age we live in.
