Uncivil Obedience

Banks will do anything to get our money, so why resist? We should go en masse to each major bank's local branch and open a new account with the minimum required balance.

Of course, the terms at the major banks are attrocious (see BofA's new $5/mo debit card usage fee, and Citi's new $20/mo account maintenance fee). I can't imagine why anyone would want to keep an account at any of them. So if someone were to open an account, they would be compelled to immediately get back in line and close the account before too much damage was done to their balance -- and spend as much time as it takes to explain to the account manager why they are closing their account.

And while an occupier is there, they might as well get back in line and open another account. And close it. And so on. And so on.

Show your brand new bank ATM card as proof of your status as a customer of that particular bank to any security who aren't fond of your presence.
