JUST IN: Reports of Police Brutality witnessed on the streets of downtown Los Angeles during an Occupy LA March from Pershing Square to City Hall. A large police presence of around 50 officers pushed the 200 protestors back on the sidewalk. At approximately 1.30pm, Officer Cardenas (pictured) grabbed, beat and arrested Anthony Lascano, an Occupier who was just released from jail yesterday with no charges. Video footage caught this violence and will be released shortly. Police also beat 5 other protestors. Live stream can be found here. Protestors are currently marching to the Detention Center on Los Angeles between 1st and Temple.

I did not catch the incident which led to Anthony's arrest, only the arrest itself and views of the crowd, behind the wall of cops you can see cops holding down and Anthony and at the end of video he is seen being lifted up:
