Description:
On Wednesday morning the LAPD raided and destroyed the peaceful encampment of Occupy LA at City Hall, where protesters have gathered for almost 60 days to petition our government. Throughout the course of the night of the raid, Occupiers were beaten and injured by police. Hundreds of our arrestees were unjustly held in jail with high bails. Our civil liberties and Constitutional rights to free speech are under attack. Come out and support us as we march to protest police brutality and the city's attack on our freedom

We need to march against the National Defense Authorization Act
Submitted by tom99 on
We need to march against the National Defense Authorization Act on Saturday (instead of the planned march against Police Brutality). This act allows the milliatry to hold US citizen in jail forever without a trial. It was passed by the senate 93-7. Both of the California Senators passed the bill.

Where is the march against the $7.7 TRILLION?
Submitted by Ben Applegate on
Where is the march against the $7.7 TRILLION secretly given to banks at the height of the crisis, which they then used to put the government DEEPER in debt by buying Treasury bonds? That's over HALF THE GDP of the UNITED STATES. We need to stay focused and express our outrage against Wall Street!
