from occupy sandiego- we need help!

Forums:

dear occupy la folks--   I  spent about five hours today at Civic Center here in san diego and noticed myself feeling disheartened. I worry about sounding the alarm bell, but the situation today is vastly different than a few days ago. I understand it may take some time until there is some level of normality (if ever!) to our occupation, but i left today worried about the future of OccupySD
I saw: 50 people or so. a number of key people seem rather stressed out, tired, or getting to that point and there was significant concern that the camp was messy   I approached one woman dressed in business casual who said she worked a "slave job" and was sitting, quietly watching all of the scene at the Plaza. She said she was totally in solidarity with us, had brought food, etc. multiple times however she was disheartened to see the numbers dwindle and that the group camping out not reflect the diversity we had in the beginning.
I think there is no shame in asking for help. I've started putting the call to LA to see if they can help.
I'd love to camp out personally-- i already got a cold from staying in a tent...and i'd really like to camp out soon...but don't want to make my cold worse!

if it feels right to you, would you consider passing on the word to others - especially at occupy la- to consider sending people down to  help us out...like stay with us and such?

Sure, can pass on the word

I have friends in SD and will pass this on to them and if they spread the news among their local SD friends as well . . . . shrug, it's something. Luck and hang in there! Even without tons of people with boots on the ground how is the online presence? Even 10 people on the ground can represent all the online folks who may not be able to make it there to camp. Getting the word out about marching events etc might help to draw people out, even if only for the event and they're not camping.
