We support them when they want it. Some of them support us, many of them don't as they think the right politician will save them, whle they are being sold out behind thier backs. With two walmarts coming to the LA area, (chinatown, and burbank) you would think the small business owners would be scrambling to get us to help them. Instead it doesn't even seem like they are trying to put up a fight. They are just going to smile and shop while walmart kills their biz, and many others. If they come around, they may save their stores, but as I see it, they won't and they will be joining the other 18,000 or so homeless in LA, and/or the millions in home foreclosures as people still use their homes for collateral, and have no idea how fast the bank will take it. They have no idea the CCA or the CCEA they pay into is not on their side either, but is just a way to get legislation passed to destroy small business, and keep corperations in control.
I wish them luck. But we can't force people to join us, and we can't wake them up, they need to wake up themselves, and sometimes its the harsh bitch slap of reality that does it.
