MLK weekend began with actions across the country, many of which are being held right here. Here's a second look at the iconic friend and associate of Reverend King, Jesse Jackson speaking to OLA on November 8, 2011:
Homeland Security has made no secret that they are monitoring the Occupy Wall Street followers. Apparently the 18 mayors who participated in a conference call in early November were talking strategy and unconfirmed reports indicate that Homeland Security was coaching them on removing occupations which quickly followed.
“The European Central Bank said the continent’s banks parked a record $590.72 billion overnight. That means those banks are unwilling take the risk of lending to each other in the short term, opting to earn low interest rates from the ECB instead.”
The Republicans are doing their best to sugar-coat a bitter pill by the name of Mitt Romney. The first voting clearly showed they are resisting. The anyone-but-Romney bloc is more than substantial. Most Republicans are desperately seeking another candidate, but so far surges by other candidates have fizzled, the exception being Rick Santorum who may or may not have new momentum going forward.
“Nobody watching the corporate television coverage in Los Angeles or across the nation would be allowed to see the mock-ups of the U.S. Constitution, or decide for themselves how 'awesome' the Occupy Octopus was.”
